Gender Disparities in STEM: Barriers and Challenges
Women in STEM continue to face systemic discrimination, gender stereotypes, and confidence challenges, impacting workplace equity and career retention. Addressing these issues is crucial for fostering diversity and innovation.

This global development and mentorship initiative is designed to empower young women in STEM and the energy sector. Through a structured experience, participants will gain industry insights, professional skills, and mentorship, helping them build confidence and prepare for future career opportunities.
The energy sector faces a growing demand for STEM professionals, yet women remain underrepresented, particularly in technical and leadership roles. By offering this program, we aim to bridge this gap, foster female talent, and support the next generation of leaders in renewable energy. Diversity drives innovation and sustainable progress, making this initiative a key step in shaping the future of energy.
The program is aimed at young women interested in STEM and energy, including:
- People at least 18 years old who are currently studying, have recently completed their studies, or are working (up to 3 years of experience).
- Individuals with minimum digital skills, as the program will take place in a hybrid or remote format.
- Those with academic/professional training in STEM areas, preferably.
- Applicants with good knowledge of English.
The registration process is fully digital and consists of two steps:
- Online application – complete the form and submit the required information.
- Screening and selection – our team will review applications and select participants based on motivation and alignment with the program’s requirements.
Once applications close, our team will review and select participants. If chosen, you’ll receive detailed information about the program schedule and activities. Participants will also have access to mentorship, guidance, and a dedicated support team to ensure a smooth and enriching experience.
