In Brazil, distributing school material for students.

One of the courses of action by the EDP Program in Schools includes the distribution of support school materials, for more adequate learning. School kits will provide a contribution to every student so that they can have the same learning opportunities in school.

Distribution of School Kits

EDP’s Program in Schools exists to improve the quality of life of students, teachers, and schools.

For that to happen, several courses of action were created: The Distribution of school kits, Training Teachers, Reading Incentives, Art with Energy contests, Virtual Reality in Schools, and Support in the return to school, after the pandemic.

In order for every child to take advantage of their education path and to conclude it successfully, it’s indispensable that they have adequate school material, as well as educational textbooks.

The distribution of school kits is the baseline for every other course of action run by the EDP’s Program in Schools to succeed, especially in communities that suffer the most because of the lack of resources.

As much as one provides the best work conditions and training for teachers, if the children don’t have educational textbooks to follow through the class and study, the results will certainly fall short of what was expected.

Ever since the EDP Program in Schools started to work in the field, over 230.000 children were able to perform their school tasks in a dignified manner, with the contribution of the school kit’s distribution.

This result is only possible through a combined work and effort between the EDP Program in Schools, the schools involved, and the communities where they are placed in.

The future starts in the classroom

The distributed kits, besides including the school textbooks, are made of materials considered basic such as notebooks, pencils, glues, and pens.

Backpacks are also a part of the kit, so that children may take the school material organized and in order.

Having all the necessary items, children may then focus on what really matters, in their own education, and their learning, so that they can assimilate knowledge and dream of a better future.

Small details for big results

School kits from the EDP Program in Schools are made by such small and simple things as a rubber or a pencil sharpener, however, its effect is massive and withholds a long-term impact.

These details promote self-esteem in children and create extra excitement in their educational path. Having all of these conditions to study makes them more aware and open to new experiences.
