EDP and Associação Verde, with the support of 35 volunteers, carried out an ecological valorization action in Lousada.
Greener Lousada
EDP, partnered with Verde - Association for Integrated Nature Conservation, promoted an ecological enhancement action in two areas of micro-reserves in the municipality of Lousada, inserted in or adjacent to the E-Redes fuel management strips.
The action, which took place on November 10, 2022, involved 35 volunteers, a total of 245 hours, which ensured the planting of 270 trees (208 acacias were also debarked), the construction of 40 meters of deadwood fences and the control of invasive species. A waterhole was also started.
