EDP Renováveis is now starting the construction of a wind farm that will be operational in 2020.

With a 45 MW capacity, Livadi park will be built in central Greece as part of a 20-year Contract for Difference (CfD) awarded to EDP Renováveis. With this new contract, the Group is now present in 15 countries and consolidates its position in the wind power industry.

According to António Mexia, "entering this new market is another important step in EDP Group's internationalization strategy, as well as a clear sign of our leadership in the renewable energies sector, an area in which Greece has a high potential for growth."
