Over the years, EDP has implemented various measures to reconcile employees' personal and professional lives. In all, there are more than 150 initiatives, developed internally and in partnership with other companies, which promote an essential balance in employees' lives.
As strategic points for the maintenance of this level, the policies and measures of conciliation and equality implemented in the company and the internal communication plan in the current pandemic situation were analysed. The recognised work of the efr internal team should also be highlighted, characterised as very committed, proactive, communicative and available.
On a global level, there are 794 entities certified with the efr standard, of which only 31 have the excellence certification - 4 in the utilities area.
Currently, in Portugal, EDP operates in six pillars that it considers important for employees' lives and on which it has been focusing its reconciliation strategy: family support, professional and personal development, time and space flexibility, equal opportunities, quality of the work environment and leadership and management style.
