EDP launches a new building energy certification campaign

Thursday 14, July 2016

EDP Commercial customers can now pay for an energy certificate in 12 monthly installments, included in their energy bill.

EDP has just launched a campaign to promote energy certification of buildings, which will be advertised until July 22 in print, radio and digital media. All interested homeowners wishing to lease or sell a property can purchase this service through any EDP service channel, even if they are not customers of EDP Comercial.
Energy certification is currently required in the advertising of properties and in the conclusion of real estate sale or lease contracts. The service classifies the energy performance of a property on a scale from A+ to F, and recommends a set of improvement measures.
In less than 24 hours, EDP will schedule a visit to the property and the certificate is delivered within 72 hours. For EDP Comercial customers, there is a new payment method. This unique offer allows them to pay for the certificate in 12 monthly installments, without interest and included in their energy bill.
With this campaign, EDP reinforces its commitment to energy efficiency, an area already sustained by its broad offering of efficient services and solutions, tailored to the needs of its customers.
The company leads the energy certification market and has already issued over 70,000 certificates.
