Applications for the 6th edition of the EDP Trainee Program are open

Tuesday 21, September 2021

The EDP global trainee program is back. Applications are open to anyone who wants to change tomorrow now.

The EDP Trainee Program is back with another edition of the global program that seeks young talent from all fields. This seven-month recruitment program comprises several selection stages and gives all selected trainees the opportunity to join the EDP team at the end.

Under the motto 'Go Ahead', the 6th edition of the EDP Trainee Program seeks to attract and develop different talent profiles, taking diversity as a source of wealth and a driver for organizational innovation, where everyone can find a space to improve their skills and share their experiences.

Applications can be submitted at edp.com until October 24, and are open to candidates from all backgrounds and countries. The only requirements are a command of the English language and a master's degree obtained less than two years ago or about to be completed.

Once the selection process is completed, trainees will start their professional career with an onboarding program in February 2022 and two assignments (totaling 6 months) in different EDP Group business areas, locations, or companies. This program aims to challenge trainees to contribute to innovative solutions that meet the challenges facing the energy sector and EDP in particular, such as the ambition to become a fully green company by 2030. In September 2022 trainees will have the opportunity to join the EDP Group, either in Portugal or in one of the other 21 countries where EDP operates.

EDP is always looking for unique talent for its teams; since the beginning of the year, the EDP Group has already recruited about 900 employees, which is a clear sign of its commitment to the countries where it operates.

Once again, the EDP Trainee Program delivers a message of integration and diversity, as a socially responsible company that wants to become an example of inclusion in the organizational context.
